Welcome to another episode of a game I like to call“Guess The Theme.” A prize-less contest where I post a step in a lawn mower paint job every day while guesses are made as to what it will be, and then eventually post the rest of the photos.

We’ve played this game before with the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! and unfortunately, since I had to lay that mower to rest due to an unfortunate exhaust issue last year, we get to play this game again.

This game is going to be a lot shorter than last time because I didn’t take very many photos.

Step #1

Gold, White, Red, and Black.

Step #2. Washing, and applying the undercoating. The factory application is a ripoff.

Step #3: Wheels

Step #4: Painting and waiting and painting and waiting and taping and painting and waiting and taping and painting and waiting.

Step #4: Peeling and touchup

Step #5: Polish, decals, Hinomaru on the engine cover, and we’re ready for assembly.

Step #6: Assembly

not sure how much the pre-existing grey will play into it, but this feels like it has the right colourings

I’ve been considering painting my snowblower like the ‘pink pig’ P o r che livery or perhaps a BMW art car but both seem like an awful lot of work to pull off.
